Search funtion? Looking for a thread

Did the search function for the forum disappear? I bookmarked a great thread a while back, titled "How I got married in Italy - A Chronology" and when I went back to the thread, it took me to the main Expats in Italy site. Because of the forum changes my saved link no longer works. I'd like to search for that specific thread but am unable to. Could you please help me locate this thread? Thanks so much for your help...and please let me know where the search function is now located!

Thank you!

Yes, that's the thread...thank you so much! I did insert the title into that search function and it did not come up, so I thought that search function was for the site and not the forum. Thanks again for your help!!

That's actually one of the benefits of having the forum and main site integrated the way they are now - a search searches both forum and articles; it wasn't like that before. Sometimes you have to do a bit of digging though :/

Search

I can't search on posts made by a person. How does that work? I seem unable to find my own posts.

I too am having a horrible

I too am having a horrible time searching for posts/threads from the citizenship sub-section of the forum.  (Specifically a post by Roark that contains very useful information.)  Maybe it's me?  I have tried to search page by page, expanded the words used in the search function, etc..  Also, when I click on a link in some of the threads that should take me directly to Roark's post, I get some other expat search page with different categories of search topics.  Frustrating....can't we make searching easier?

Help!

Ciao, Cristina. Thanks in

Ciao, Cristina. Thanks in advance for trying to help me.  Yes, I put 'applying in italy' in the search field in the upper right corner. Pressed search button and this generates the next page listing the results (103 pages of results).  There is no advanced search option on this page...or I can't seem to find one!

I need to concur with the other people - the search function is not as good as it was before.
