Italian plugs- kill me already

I hate Italian plugs. I've said it.
Is it possible to buy a 3 pin narrow (wall) to 3 pin wide (appliance) converter.?

Assuming you mean Italian to German then yes.

Should be in every shop for €2 to 3

You can buy plug converters either from small 2/3 prong to large 2/3 prong, vice versa and from the German 3 prong to either a large or small 2/3 prong. My feeling, go to a hardware store, and buy a few of each (from German to Italian buy enough for all of your appliances).

A 2 euro item with over 8 euros postage!! why amazon.it is so useless. I checked a similar size item on .co.uk and postage was free. Definitely buy at local Ferramenta!

But Amazon often has the best pictures  Plus the format is the same for all the sites so if you have ever used an Amazon site it's clear enough to understand.

Never seen that Amazon photo in my locals. Don't even recall seeing in MediaWorld last weekend. The search continues...

From a German Schuko to Italian you need at least this (the one at the Amazon link is an adapter for the Schuko as well as 2/3 prong plugs, so you can attach more things together)
. This one goes from Schuko to the smaller 3 prong plug. You can also find the 16Amp which goes to the bigger 3 prong. The larger are for larger appliances like overs, washers, etc.

From 2/3 small to large you need and from 2/3 large to small you need [attachmentsmiley]RIDUZIONE BIVALENTE 10A.jpg

You can order them online http://www.nonsololed.com/" target="_BLANK" target="_BLANK" target="_BLANK" target="_BLANK" target="_BLANK" target="_BLANK" target="_BLANK if you have problems finding them at your local store (grocery, appliance, etc.) although I have never had a problem finding them there as well as other stores.

thanks. The last adaptor looks like the one. I need it to connect to a 9-plug block to run off tv, pc, lights etc.

You can get a power strip with Schuko plugs or a mix of Schuko and Italian.

Any larger supermarket will have a whole section of these things.

Re: Italian plugs- kill me already

While we are discussing Italian plugs what would I buy to adapt a US three prong (+, -, ground) plug to a standard Italian outlet? I am looking at the transformer for my computer. It will handle 50 cycle Italian current but I need the adapter to plug it in.
