I have already obtained Italian citizenship, and have moved from an address in one consulate to an address in another consulate. I have submitted my change of address to the old consulate.
My question is, do I need to submit anything to the new consulate, or will the old consulate automatically notify them of the change of address?

You need to inform the consulate of your change of address. When I left NY I told my new consulate, Miami, my new address. A few weeks later I received an acknowlegement from the commune.
I suppose you could also give your forwarding address to the old consulate but that is just a supposition.
Well, you do have to give the new address to the old consulate, so that they know that you are no longer part of their jurisdiction. So again I am wondering if they notify the new consulate?
I cam only repeat what I did. I told the new consulate my address. The commune responded. According to the written correspondence I am now the responsibility of the new consulate.
