The sirocco is blowing now and it's still very hot, but we had a blessed week of low 80's and afternoon rains after the successful garden party on July 4.

The big news is that after a stressful week of disassembling yet another home and moving to the princess room at Chiusure, work on Il Loggino has finally commenced in earnest. Che casino!











Found some beautiful tiles for the bathrooms down in northern Lazio and had a lovely lunch lakeside (Bolsena) with friends the same day.

And the closing date for my NY apartment is July 20 so I'll have plenty to spend on the new place. Sono molto contenta.
