It was a nice office.

After the farewell dinner cruise with co-workers in New York harbor, I'll be working through saying goodbye to my neighborhood, to New York. (I'm not really speaking to the U.S. these days, so I won't say goodbye to it, but I will keep my ties to it - by voting and praying to the deities for its rescue.)
I really hope that all the people to whom I've given my forwarding address will come to visit or at least just touch base with me when they can get to Italy. The historical continuity of the relationships I've made and re-made over the years is important to me. It's in large part what makes me me.

Dear Jo; your last note was very moving and can relate to everything you are saying. Leaving a job after 25plus years is very difficult. As you know i have done it and when the reality sets in we need to find different resources that define us. I know you will be able to do it. Please let's keep in touch....I will see you for the good by cruise, Love, Myriam
Joanna,

Please keep us informed at www.slowtrav.com
