I need your help - please!

A message and request for anyone who is kind enough to stop by and read my 'blog'.

I am having some problems with the contents of this 'blog'. Ever since eblogger set up a new programme (or whatever it was they did recently) I have had some problems with what 'SOME OF YOU' as my readers can see and access.

On the right hand side of the 'blog' underneath the clock and the 'counter' you should be able to see the following - in descending order....

All of this should be followed by the weather forecast.

Now if you CANNOT see all of this could you do two things for me - please?

1. Hit your "Refresh Button" and see if that brings the above back into view.

2. Just leave me a 'comment' at the bottom of the blog telling me what happened ('could' or 'couldn't' see the r/h column)

OR
If you could see the sidebar all along - could you tell me that too.

I'm asking this because Cristina from Expats (bless her) has exhausted her ideas on the problem as she CAN see the sidebar - and so can I...but friends are telling me that they can't!

Can I just say 'thank you' in anticipation....

I was beginning to wonder if I was going 'nuts'. But at least now you have all verified that the problem IS real!!!

Oh well I suppose it's back to the drawing board.... Sounds good eh? It would sound better if I knew what I was doing!|

I see everything as you describe it. I am using Firefox 1.? and have really never had problems with your blog except when you were having problems with photos.

sorry if I am being too curious but from your comment it seems that Barb and Art's blog is full of "f" words. Sorry but I ready that blog daily and I haven't noticed this, maybe you are talking about someone else's blog ???

She didn't say full of the "F" word she said use of the "F" word, at least the way it looks to me. I have seen Barb use the word once of twice (once recently), I thought that she used it with class. Like "F" a kind a nd loving man!! Ha-Ha

The main thing is that things on Carole's blog seem to line up on my computer.

Secondly, you're blog STILL refuses to update with bloglines, so forgive me if I'm ony here sporadically...it's hard to keep up with everyone's blog!

Now, as to the "F" word...well, I have been known to use that word frequently, but only when the situation demands it! I don't say "F this" and "F that", or "F the Fing world!", but when writing or talking about cetain people and certain situations, this word DEFINITELY gets used! those who've read my blog either accept it...or not.

There is usually - in any situation - someone who will not like some of the things written as a strictly personal point of view, but the 'blog' is NOT the place to air these likes and dislikes in the Comments Section.

I don't want to go down the draconian route (that many do) of insisting on vetting every word that people want to write on my 'blog'. I am only grateful that they give thier precious time to even bother to visit me and read my musings.

But I will say that the views expressed in the comments section of MY 'blog' do not necessarily represent MY views!

I see how your sidebar has disappeared. I see nothing below the clock either.

If you just switched to the new blogger and upgraded your template, you will have to return all your sidebar content as Page Elements. Hopefully, you saved your template first and can now simply cut and paste into the new layout. I'm not sure at what stage you are, whether you've upgraded or not.
