At last - the colour!

Well Romano arrived, as promised, with the samples of the two possible colours I had selected... you can see them here below. Both a variation on the 'apricot' that I like so much.

I chose the one on the left in the photo, it's just a little bit warmer than the other one....What do you reckon?
All being well - he will be back next Friday to start the final phase of the work. Fingers crossed!

SO NICE TO SEE THINGS ARE GOING WELL AND THE COLOUR ON THE LEFT DOES LOOK MORE WARM AND HAPPY. IN THE LONG RUN, JUST IN CASE IT MIGHT LOOK A LITTLE TO BRITE TO YOU NOW, THE WEATHER WILL MUTE IT SOME TOO.

WHEN WE HAD THE TRIM ON THE HOUSE PAINTED, I LIKE NORDIC BLUE, I WAS SCARED BY THE BRIGHTNESS THE FIRST DAYS BUT NOW IT LOOKS LIKE IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THERE.

I AM SURE IT WILL BE FINE BECAUSE YOU FOLLOWED YOUR HEART.

IT IS COLD HERE IN KY. FROM ABOVE 7O DOWN TO 37, AND POOR NEW YORK HAS 2 MORE FEET OF SNOW.

I HAVE A HEADACHE I COULD DO WITHOUT, OH WELL IT WILL PASS.

I think you picked the better of the two. How long is the job projected to take?

Well the actual last 'colour coat' which incorporates the tiny pebble type finish should take 3-4 days. The siver grey wide border around the door and the windows is done already. The promise was, that as requested, it would be finished before Easter.

It just 'may' be finished before Lori (Expats) visits at the end of this month!!!

But it snowed again above 1000m last night, with heavy thunderstorms here. If that happens next week, it will stop them in their tracks!
So fingers crossed....

That is missing a first sentence saying that the color is suited to use with so many other colors!

Yes, I think I prefer the deeper
colour too,it will make your house
look warm and welcoming, wonderful.
You'll be able to see it from some distance, and when you come round the corner from the village,it will give you a lovely cosy feeling, and satisfaction that your house is completely finished.
Love Heather
