The Lower Walls!
Well being the 'holiday week' there's been no workers here at 7am every morning - which has been nice.
The lower walls which will be underground - hence the cement protective
boxes around the window - are almost finished. The lower living part of the house is to the right here and faces away from me and will not be below ground. then the stairs they have built lead up to the two bedrooms I believe. The wide entrance is to the garage and storage area (see the columns in the centre for the floor).
The lower quarters can be seen better here. My goodness it is certainly solidly built.
And 'last but not least' I'm showing off again....
Can you see how my peaches are 'beginning' to ripen. they've actually got a bit of colour on their cheeks!
Oh I can hardly wait 'til I can eat the 'first' peach off MY tree!!!!!

Wow, I missed the progress there! Carole, it looks like Fort Knox!
They should build em like that in Kansas during tornado season!!!
Let me know how those peaches are....yum.
