Crossing Lake Como

These are the (misty) views we saw from the traghetto as we crossed the lake.....

The first is the top of the point of the 'inverted Y' that is Lake Come. It's on this point that you find Belaggio!
Whereas this view is looking down the lake towards the only island - Isola Comaccino - that you can just see. (For those who 'adore' George (C) - his villa is on the lake shore just below that island).









And here is the approach to Belaggio. As you can see, the lake on that day was like the proverbial 'mill pond'.
