My 'Back Yard' !

Finally a sprinkling of sunshine this morning - so while sitting waiting for my car to be washed and cleaned - it was so filthy inside and out, I could have grown 'spuds' in it - I took this snap of Monte Legnone in all it's snow capped glory. My house backs straight on to the base of this 'old lady'. The snows are really melting now - despite the fact that it snowed here above the 500m line two days ago. It's still quite 'nippy' unless your in the sunshine, but there is poor weather forecast again for Sunday.

So here we are once again heading for Easter...We are going to have and 'almost' mini GTG here on Saturday... Expats members Terry and his wife and little girl with some friends, are over from the UK for some skiing and their house is just 3 miles from me... then 'bardigiana' and her son, also from Expats, are coming to stay with me for a couple of days - I'm really looking forward to meeting them both. For those of you who were up for the Colico GTG last October - we are going to the same mountain restaurant for lunch on Saturday. What's the betting that they want to go to the biscuit and chocolate factories too!

My 'family' are resting at home in Milano this weekend - getting ready for the 'Anniversary' on the 30th. But knowing them they probably wont be able to resist a quick visit on Monday. They turned up here last Sunday afternoon as 'a surprise' - and that was nice. But I do wish they would give me a bit of warning when they turn up with friends! Luckily I knew the ones who came with them last week.....

Ciccio just loves it when we have visitors....he bounces around doing his 'demented kangaroo' act and then chooses someone to sit and gaze at adoringly! I have no fears that he is transferring his loyalty, as once he discovers that visitors don't have 'special goodies' hidden in their pockets or bags, he's straight back to me. Crafty little s*d!

He showed me a new side to his character this week...he's going to be a good 'ratter' I think.
I have a 'mole' in the garden - it's just started leaving little mole hills across the 'lawn' (I'm kidding myslf about having a 'lawn'), and the 'mutt' must have heard the mole moving under the earth - Well he went 'berserk' and started digging like mad trying to get at 'whatever it was'... I had to stop him, or I wouldn't have had any garden left.
I hope to take some 'pics' this weekend so I'll post a few neat week...

Should I ever come to your house, I will definitely have treats for Ciccio. Shall they be lo-cal?
