WE'RE MENTIONED IN "THE ROMAN FORUM"!

I was contacted a few weeks ago by a writer from THE ROMAN FORUM, asking if she could write about us for an upcoming article about Americans living in Italy. Knowing that we had put our house on the market, I guess we were to be used as the example of what could happen if finances failed....or in our case, if the dollar went to hell.

While the author didn't get it exactly right (we're just selling to get rid of our mortgage, hoping to buy something free and clear) and we don't find the cost of living excessively high, you can judge for yourself by reading the article HERE.

The article's entitled "Today’s American Community in Rome"....sort of strange that we should be mentioned since we live in Umbria, huh? Anyway, it's an interesting read about all types of expats..retirees, transferees, students, others just here for a year or so to experience Italy's charms....including our friends Valerie and Bryan, who are also mentioned in the article.
