Update on August 9....my photo is now #1!!! Unbelieveable! Of course the contest runs thru the end of DECEMBER, so chances are my photo won't stay number one, but I really want to say THANK YOU! to everyone who voted for my photo and who took the time to forward the info on to others! Kinda cool, huh?

Barb, I've read your blog on and off for several years because of my interest in Italy, and enjoyed it tremendously. I'm also a knitter. Would you mind if I left a link to your blog on a knitting forum I belong to? The knitters would be fascinated by your 2 knitting videos. You should know you would probably get quite a few (1K-3K?) hits to your blog. You might find a knitter interested in your house - who knows?

Oh my gosh Barb, I went to vote and thought I would look through some of the other pictures first as I love looking at pictures taken by others and then I planned to go back to vote for your flower but I did not read your entire post first and so I started clicking 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. under each picture! My computer screen is not long enough to see the arrows at the bottom without scrolling down and so I thought the numbers took me to the next picture instead of actually voting! That'll teach me to read the directions first! I DID vote for your picture (a 10) and would have given you a 20 if I could have. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that photo!
