SUNFLOWERS

I think we might have waited too long to take pictures of the sunflowers. The fields that are in full bloom are now droopy...had we gone out a week or ten days ago we would have seen these fields as seas of gold. Also, contrary to popular opinion, the flowers don't seem to follow the sun...maybe it's because they're too dry, maybe it's because they're full grown, or maybe it's just a myth. Whatever the reason, we went out late in the afternoon to take these pictures, so for the most part the sun wasn't in the best location to take pictures. Anyway, here are a few of the pictures we took, just to give you an idea of what our area looks like right now.....
